Femiverse (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard data when you use the Femiverse mobile app.
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide and improve your experience:
Account Information: We use your Firebase account ID (UID) for authentication.
Cycle and Pregnancy Data: Data you enter manually, such as cycle length, period start dates, or pregnancy information, is stored locally on your device or securely under your own Firebase user document.
Anonymous Stories: Stories you share are completely anonymous. They are stored in Firebase without any identifying information.
AI Assistant Questions: Questions you ask are processed securely to generate answers and are not permanently stored or linked to your account.
Analytics (Optional): We may use Firebase Analytics to understand app performance in an anonymized way.
We use your data only to:
Provide accurate cycle and pregnancy tracking insights.
Offer personalized AI-based support and responses.
Enable anonymous sharing and interaction.
Send optional reminders or wellness notifications (if enabled).
We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
Personal and sensitive data (like cycle logs) is stored locally or in your authenticated Firestore user document.
All app communications use secure HTTPS encryption.
Anonymous stories and AI chats contain no personally identifying data.
You have complete control over your data:
View, edit, or delete your cycle or pregnancy data at any time.
Delete your account and associated data (see deletion policy below).
Opt out of analytics or notifications at any time.
Femiverse is designed for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or new features. Any major updates will be communicated through the app or our GitHub repository.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by:
Opening the Settings section in the app and selecting Delete My Account, or
Emailing binamark41@gmail.com with your registered email address.
When you delete your account:
Your Firebase user document (/users/{userId}) is permanently deleted.
Your anonymous stories remain public but contain no identifiable link to you.
Any locally stored data (cycle logs, pregnancy data) is removed upon uninstalling the app.
Inactive accounts may be purged automatically after 12 months of inactivity.
Anonymous stories older than 30 days may be automatically deleted to maintain content freshness and privacy.
